I was invited to join the Beta of ‘Newsvine’ a couple days ago

I was invited on Friday to join the Newsvine private beta. Newsvine is based in Seattle. Its goal is to offer a blend of mainstream news and citizen journalism. I guess my contribution falls in the second category. People behing the company were instrumental in the launch of the ESPN and Disney websites  amongst other things. Om Malik wrote about Newsvine in November and Steve Rubel last Friday. Another way to share/distribute my writing I guess, on that point I disagree with Steve’s focus mainly on the advertising revenue.
