After watching the end of the World Cup Final yesterday, I happened to pick up a paperback copy of The Art of Possibility by Rosamund and Benjamin Zander. Going through the first chapter provided a reminder that how we view events is often tilted by how we want to look at them. France getting to the final is a great achievement.
Even Zidane will surely learn something from his foolish moment. Being graceful when making our exit (from a job, a team or other situations) leaves you feeling better than bitterness and anger.
To be able to act that way, we do need to take the time to pause.
This is why I consider my concierge business as not just a productivity tool but also a gift of time service.
We tend to be obsessed with doing more when doing better might be wiser.
Congratulations to Italy on its victory yesterday as fellow French Expat Jeff Clavier said so graciously today.
