Standing in front of the Cheese Counter unable to decide between cow, goat and sheep, I have a solution for you. Rocchetta is a Menage a Trois of all these milks.
A creamy and smooth round cheese of around 9 ounces, not too strong in flavors, it will taste perfect with a crusty baguette and a simple red wine. Some even suggest to pair it with Champagne. Named after a neighboring village and aged for 45 days, it comes to us from Piedmont (Italy) and will set you you back $15.00. So maybe consider it as a treat.
In appearance, it reminded me of one of my all time favorites, Saint Marcellin from Lyon.
