I was intrigued enough by one of the Google Ads displayed in my sidebar to check its source.
The advertiser was Porthos a distributor of carefully selected California Wines.
On their site, I discovered a wine that speaks to my taste for good juice and bike riding. My friends at BikeHugger would be the perfect recipients.
This Tandem Peloton 2004 ($25) combines Pinot Noir, Syrah, Zinfandel with a hint of 3 other grapes, interesting mix indeed.
Here is the first sentence of how Tandem describes ‘le peloton‘: "This is our no-holds-barred, pedal-to-the-metal, guns-blazing, full boogie tilt expression of what we would like to be not a varietal or regional expression, but the “winner of the first empty glass” contest!"
If you had the chance to taste this wine, share your impressions with us.
