After a hectic past week, I have been catching up on my reading this morning.
Amongst the things that caught my eye was Sonoma on A Sunday by Jeannie Lacombe on San Francisco based Vinfolio Staff Blog.
I am always concerned about people getting behind the wheel after a lengthy wine dinner or tasting especially on a hot summer day when sun and wine can make anyone feel hazy woozy.
Her advice, car pool with a non drinking driver or hire a limo .
She also shares her tips on mapping your itinerary, choosing the wineries and the practical cost of tastings.
A very useful piece if you plan a trip to the area.
I would add in the safe transportation sphere my own suggestion. Rent a car with a driver which could be less costly than a limo. I covered such a service in Stress Free Car Rental with Avis/ We Drive U.
