Since I will not be in France dancing the Paso Doble on July 14 for Bastille Day, I will instead celebrate amongst friends (probably on Sunday the 15) with Pastis as an Aperitif complemented by Pate, Saucisson, Cornichons and Crudites for the vegetarian amongst us.
Crusty Baguettes will be a must.
Ratatouille, not the movie, the provencale dish mind you might also make an appearance. There will be cheese of course like Petit Basque, a good Brie de Meaux and Bleu d’Auvergne. The meal would not be complete without a tray or two of Patisseries.
And wine of course.
Guillotines will not be part of the decor.
