This Montepulciano d’Abruzo 2005 is the first salvo in the series. For a budget
wine (around $9) it stands proud. The wine was fermented in stainless
steel which helps it keep its young legs intact. Serve with simple fare and enjoy.
From what I could glean most of the grapes came from the Velenosi Estate.
The Wine was awarded a Silver Medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition in June.
