After a 9 year run for the Chocolate Show in New York, its founders and maitres de ceremonie decided that 3 days Oozing Chocolate in all shapes, forms and flavors was not enough.
For the 10th Anniversary of the Chocolate Show, the Fun will last a whole week with the launch of the first ever New York Chocolate Week.
Restaurants and Shops around the Big Apple will offer Chocolate themed tastings, cocktails and menus.
Amongst the restaurants involved are Butter in the East Village, Brasserie 8 1/2 on W 57th Street, Le Cirque and Bouchon Bakery at the Time Warner Center (Columbus Circle), one of Thomas Keller ventures which got the Best Sticky Buns award in New York Magazine for 2007.
This first New York Chocolate Week takes place from November 4 to 11.
The Chocolate Show runs from November 9 to the 11.
