I did notice the Happiness for $10 and under piece in The New York Times.
I added my comments about the topic on The Pour and even went back to my archives to dig out wines I wrote of in that category.
I have to confess that I did not spend much time on the original article until today.
As I was hunting for bits and pieces of information on recent purchases, I realized that one of my rare $5.99 wine buys was the Number 1 Pick in the ‘Happiness’ article.
In case you did not read this $10 and under Wine Picks suggestions, their Number 1 was Padre Pedro from Portugal. It was new to me but I thought at that price worth case scenario, I will use it as cooking wine.
I did not have to, it was a great buy.
Funny enough, I bought their Number 2, Domaine de l’ Ameillaud which I already had tasted in the past for $7.99 the same day.
