Rather than put the accent on cold efficiency, our friends at PingMag picked a number of logos from parcel delivery and moving services in Tokyo that mostly say we care.
I used a couple of illustrations from their story Speedy! Animal Characters As Japanese Shipping Logos for this piece.
For example Hato (I quote) offers “Small Pigeon Delivery Service,” especially customised for one person, or people with less furniture, hence the little bird logo.
On the other hand, the Family Moving Service Co logo conveys that they will carry the load and we can make them sweat.
Have fun and browse through their other picks.
Compared to these, the DHL, UPS and FEDEX logos look a tad tame.
Are delivery services in your corner of the world thinking visual, if so share their logos with us.
