Is there a need to put things including our favorite wines and foods in little boxes.
Shouldn’t we instead let each of them speak for themselves?
What would a regressive wine selection be if we go down that path?
Choices offered by a wine shop or an eaterie that went not from good to great but rather from good to mediocre.
Closest association I have with the word ‘progressive’ is as in Prog Rock from the 70’s (as in Van Der Graaf, Gentle Giant, Hatfield and the North and a few others).
Is a restaurant that serves only fish, especially on Fridays, eligible for the ‘conservative’ badge.
As for ‘liberal’, in this realm it could apply to a winemaker who lets you taste a good chunk of his/her selections and vintages or a bartender who serves you liberally as in more for the money or on the ‘moral hazard side’ still serving an inebriated customer.
Is it the kind of topic one needs to share with their analyst?
