On this gray Thursday, I thought it would be the perfect time to share a ‘ray of sun’ in picture at least with this photo of Clementines in the Park from Barcelona (Spain that is).
Thanks to meimagënation) for giving me the green light to use his picture.
It was taken on January 8th, 2008 in the Parc de la Ciutadella , city center, which also includes a nice zoo.
Clementines are a treat and great for kids as they are seedless. They became popular in the US only in the past few years notes Produce Pete after a winter frost hit the orange groves in Florida.
I found out about Bernardino’s work while reading Legacy of the Spider Woman (about ‘Maman’, the giant sculpture by Louise Bourgeois) on The Guardian Art Blog.
