‘Hanging in There’ Sales Pitch gets me going!

I hate wasting my time getting live or even worse automated sales pitches from anyone for things or products I do not want to buy anyway.
Today I got a ‘Hanging in There’ sales call and all it made me do was hang up.
The joke fell flat.
Transfer that to a restaurant and the sales pitch from the waiter would sound like : Look like you had a bad day, want 3 drinks.
Imagine if the person on the receiving end of one of this ‘gag’ calls just experienced a death in the family.
Bad PR, Bad Marketing…
