After deciding to head down to South Africa (virtually that is) for this edition of Green Day, I was noodling around the Natural & Organic event site when I landed in their Conscious Cooking Corner.
I was not sure it would make me tick with such a solemn name.
The table of contents or should I say their menu of food happenings left a better taste in my mouth.
What the Conscious Cooking Corner is about (in Natural & Organic words): "Three-day-eat-for-wellness food demos that prove nutritious equals delicious!"
Had I made it to Cape Town, I would definitely have checked ‘Cooking with Patience’ (October 17) by Larissa Lee of Love Green Food who penned a recipe book (cover below).
Michelle Matthews, author of The Whole Food Almanac ,the Guide to naturally good eating in the Cape (cover below) offers a ‘Salad: Play with Flavors’ session (October 18).
As for Sunday (October 19), ‘Fresh as a Berry’ sounds like a great way to juice up your day.
Take a walk down the ‘Organic Wine Lane’ as well.
The 5th Natural & Organic Exhibition takes place in Cape Town, South Africa (October 17-19) at the International Convention Center.
