Burgundy comes to the Big Apple with La Paulée de New York on March 7th.
This once a year event is Daniel Johnnes homage to La Paulée de Meursault, a convivial Burgundian fête shared by growers and their guests.
The Grand Tasting is sold out.
If you are ready to rise and taste and learn early, there is one event that you don't want to miss.
For the first time ever Wasserman Mere et Fils (Becky and Peter that is) will preach together the Gospel of Burgundy.
The Becky and Peter Wasserman Seminar takes places at City Winery from 10am to 12pm.
What will it be all about:
She was at the forefront of the movement encouraging small family
Domaines to bottle their wines at the Domaine rather than selling it
off to the large negociant houses.
Peter and Becky will lead us through a tasting of Domaines Denis
Bachelet, Michel Lafarge, Hubert Lamy, Jacques Frédéric Mugnier,
Sylvain Pataille and Domaine Dublère."
