Their interest was mostly with British marquees like Triumph and BSA which I did not realize stands for Birmingham Small Arms Company.
A piece on British brands defunct at home but still alive in India in today's FT mentioned Royal Enfield which after flirting with death is looking at bringing this once famous British motorcycle brand back to shores far away from India.
Thanks to the FT article, I realized that Coventry has more to offer than The Specials. It is also home of the National Motorcycle Museum which puts on display the rich history of British motorcycles past and present like the 1975
