On the menu "favorites like spicy Buffalo wings and jalapeño bottle caps will start
the night with a little spice, with whole roasted pig, slathered ribs,
apricot glazed chicken and brisket to follow. Sides like baked beans,
mac ‘n' cheese and Brussels sprouts will be sure to satisfy along with
the homemade cupcakes for dessert", served family style.
Master Sommelier Laura Maniec selected the bubbly.

Another Zagat event that got my attention is Back to Brittany running until January 26 at Bar Breton (pictured above, from their site) in Chelsea.
"Join chef-owner Cyril Renaud for a
four-course menu of Breton-inspired specialty dishes. Settle in for the
night and make yourself comfortable as you delight in this savory and
tasty, culinary tour of chef Renaud's homeland with fare like crab
