Sur La Table wants to remind us that food, at least the type they care about, comes from people not factories.
These people run farms and they are the bones forming the skeleton of a book titled Eating Local (Andrews McMeel) written by Janet Fletcher in collaboration with Sur La Table.
No less than 150 recipes with in season ingredients are offered.
It intersperses the cooking tips with profiles of the providers from Dancing Roots Farm in Troutdale (Oregon) to Full Belly Farm in Rumsey, California not trying to make it picture perfect.
How can you put your hand on a copy of this edible treat of a book?
Answer the following 2 questions:
One of these farms name is close to the name of a country-rock band famous for an album about circle not broken and another one about uncle and his dog…
What is the name of the band?
Send you answers to info [at] njconcierges [dot] com
All entries must be received by 12 Midnight Eastern Standard Time on June 12, 2010.
Since there is only one copy of the book to win, this contest is on a first come, first serve basis.
Best of lucK!!!
