I would file it under Food Art as SBS site Food Art does yet fruit pectin not gelatin based jellies sound and look great.
Food Art showcases jellies offered by Medlow Fine Gels which they state are 100% fat free.
The original founder of Medlow has after selling his first line created a new one under the David Medlow Confectionery (DMC) label.
In noted that his Mini Pecs Sugared Jellies are listed as Gluten Free and also Fat Free.
A July 2010 piece for Natural News gives a long list of benefits attributed to Fruit Pectin (their call) and describes fruit pectin as "found in the rinds of many fruits and vegetables. Excellent sources of pectin are bananas, apples, cabbage, okra, beets, grapes, carrots and all citrus fruit in the white part called the pith."
I will stick with the Jellies , just for the sweet sensation.
