The architecture and design collective Otto announced that Tokujin Yoshioka was named Designer of the Year 2011 by German magazine A&W (Architektur & Wohnen).
With the repeated snow storms that have visited the East Coast in past few weeks, I thought his multimedia project Snow presented as part of Sensing Nature exhibit at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo late 2010 is a timely illustration.
