One of the crowning moments of the year for food and wine writers, the Paris Cookbook Fair 2011 opens its doors to cookbook lovers on Thursday, March 3 (until March 6).
Some 200 publishers from around the world will be present.
Guest of honor is Italy.
Cheese is in the spotlight.
Amongst the stars of the event is a French comic strip, Les Sept Peches Capiteux de Robert Parker (Robert Parker's 7 deadly sins) by Simmat and Becovici published by 12 Bis in October 2010.
Book has been a runaway success in the French speaking world. Publisher describes the comic strip as detective work, a Mondovino en bulles.
Should we expect a US edition?
Being France, the Paris Cookbook Fair will combine some author events with wine tastings in Le Bar International under the guidance of Robert Camuto and Jean-Charles Chapuzet.
