Bordeaux is in full force at London International Wine Fair 2011.
"The Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux (UGC), which represents the most prestigious names in Margaux, St Julien, Pauillac, St Estèphe, Listrac, Moulis, the Médoc, Haut – Médoc, Graves, Pessac-Léognan, Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Sauternes and Barsac, will be making their very first appearance at the Fair"
Since I did not make it to London, one thing I regret missing is the Chateau Palmer Vertical tasting on Thursday, May 19. Hosted by Bernard de Laage from Château Palmer the tasting will comprise: Alter Ego 2008 and 2004 and Château Palmer 2006, 2004, 2000 and 1998.
Also worth noting was Stephen Lemaitre from Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou presenting Ch Ducru Beaucaillou, La Croix de Beaucaillou ; Ch Lalande-Borie 2006, 2007 & 2008 on Wednesday, May 18.
I still have a chance to catch up on the Bordeaux contingent by making my trip to Vinexpo in June happen.
