While many airlines try to squeeze as many passengers as possible in each plane, Open Skies took a contrarian approach by limiting its seating to 80 something guests. It serves Paris from 2 U.S cities, New York and Washington D.C.
Today, May 17, Open Skies celebrates the 1st Birthday of its D.C to Paris route.
They mark the occasion with a Special Fare of $701 (each way, plus tax and fees) for Biz Seats (not beds). You must book your seat by May 20, 2011 for travel between May 16 and July 9, 2011.
If your final destination in France is not Paris, Open Skies gives you the option of continuing your trip by train thanks to TGV AIR which offers connections to 14 cities including Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Reims, Strasbourg, Tours and Bordeaux which would be perfect if my plans to cover Vinexpo in June come to fruition.
Airline motto of 'More Pampering, Less Cramming' is matched with images of fluffy clouds with brought to mind 80's French hit, C'est la Ouate by Caroline Loeb.
