The few reports we gave a year ago on Nature Capitale turning Champs Elysees into a Garden were amongst our most read stories of 2010.
The creative minds (and 2 of the many bodies) behind Nature Capitale, Gad Weil and Laurence Medioni could have rested on their laurels and revisited the same spot.
Instead they decided that each yearly endeavor should be captured as it happened with all it's ephemeral beauty.
In 2011, they chose Place Bellecour in Lyon as their Canvas.
The famous plaza will be turned into a labyrinth or should I say a green maze with vibrant colors.
Vegetal creation while taking over historic settings will make them shine.
Besides taking us back to our roots, this year's event wants to get the conversation going in and around Lyon on ways to be eco-responsible.
Nature Capitale set the tone in preparing the event for example by using barges to transport trees and plants to Lyon.
