I hoped that Discover Liguria's Culinary Riches showcase in New York on June 22 would be an evening evening event only to see that it runs from 2 to 6 PM which means I will probably miss it as other things call for my attention at that time.
There is a Summer vacation feel to the idea of discovering "Liguria’s secret to the dolce vita: aromatic olive oils, artisanal foods and fragrant wines from the land where the Mediterranean and Tyrrhenian Seas
meet" with an introduction to the Italian Riviera — from Portofino to Cinque Terre – and a chance to meet the producers behind these earthly goods.
Amongst them Frantoio Lucchi and Guastalli which offers organic oil and Azienda Agricola La Rocca di San Nicolao, a wine producer part of the Campagnia Amica network which combines the efforts of farms across Italy both for distribution and farm tourism with the Terranostra site.
