In keeping with the idea of covering all gourmet goods, we follow our first installment, gluten-free (some spicy) Miss Jenny's Pickles by munching on artisan cookies for grown ups thanks to family owned Lark Fine Foods located in Essex, Massachusetts.
Options go from savory provencal inspired Scourtins (black olive wafers) to Russian Teacakes (nut butter cookies rolled in confectioner's sugar).
Amongst the 8 numbers in their repertoire, the only ones I did not have a chance to taste were Russian Teacakes.
I took a special liking to Salted Rosemary Shortbread (touch of sea salt) which will be at home with a tray of amuses and the Whole Grain Lady Birds, oat cookies with cranberries and bittersweet chocolates, nice crumbly mouth feel.
Runner up would be Cha-Chas, right combination of spice and chocolate for a palate seasing experience.
