Jessica and Joshua of Fleisher's Meats are criss-crossing the United States this summer promoting The Butcher's Guide to Well-Raised Meat (Clarkson Potter, 2011).
On August 20, Jessica Applestone will be sunbathing (weather permitting) and joining the 'It' crown in the Hamptons for A Hamptons “Bao-BQ” hosted by Zagat with chef Eddie Huang of BaoHaus at Paige Estate in Southampton, New York.
Menu items such as Char Siu Pork and Taiwanese Fritas will showcase Fleisher's meats, while Jessica is on hand to sign her new book. There will be seafood with Huang's Lu Wei crawfish.
Price per person: $65 for a four-course cookout with chef Eddie Huang, open bar and access to the Axe Lounge after-party; tax and gratuity included.
