Looking at the program of Grands Jours de Bourgogne (March 19-24, 2012), I felt like a kid in a candy store.
Knowing that in the best case scenario, I would only be able to take a few days off, I signed up for sessions from Wednesday to Friday.
I started with Symphonie Mâconnaise – L'Autre Bourgogne (on Wednesday the 21) in Beaune.
On Thursday, I realized I registered only for 1 session, Au Coeur de la Bourgogne / Tonnellerie de Mercurey, maybe a mistake on my part.
I gorged on Friday with 3 options, first Terroirs de Corton / Salle Municipale in LADOIX-SERRIGNY, followed by Salon des Jeunes Talents / Comédie du Vin in BEAUNE, concluding with Des Maranges au Montrachet par Santenay et Saint-Aubin / Château de Chassagne-Montrachet.
All I need to make it happen now is a sponsored round trip ticket to Paris (or better Dijon) and someone to fill my head concierge shoes for a couple of days.
