You know how sometimes things flow and others they don't.
Well, that's how I was starting to feel while trying to leave old Europe behind on this March 3rd stop for A Bistro A Day.
After checking various cities on other continents, I finally found a place I felt comfortable mentioning.
The Bistro du Jour is a Vinoteca (combination wine shop and wine bar) named La Cava Jufré * in Buenos Aires.
Pictures of the place project a relaxed feel. You could just sit down to sip a glass of wine, let your mind wander and do some people watching.
From what I've gathered, what they serve by the glass depends on the inspiration of whoever is working that day.
They seem to offer only Argentinian wines.
Specific wineries get the spotlight as will Finca las Perdices on March 11 from 7:30 PM to 9: 30 PM.
Four wines from this producer will be poured: Pinot Grigio, Malbec, Syrah-Viognier and Pinot Noir.
Cost is $25 per person.
La Cava Jufre is located at Jufré 201
Opening hours are:
Monday: 6:30 PM to Midnight
Tuesday to Saturday: 11 AM to 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM to Midnight
(* Site is in Spanish only)
