A not so funny thing happened to me this afternoon as I was getting a phone call on my Blackberry Curve.
The phone kept ringing and dropping calls yet I could not answer.
At the same time the phone felt like it was on vibrate but was not.
I realized after a few seconds that what I felt was like mini electric shocks in my right hand fingers.
I had become Electric Serge.
I turned off the phone, opened it, removed the battery, put it back and restarted the Blackberry which once reset was functioning normally again.
My fingers felt tingly for a while though.
Strange experience it was…Don't remember touching something wet prior.
I did find this BlackBerry Curve 8320 Safety and Product Information on Docstoc.
Could not see what related to my incident though.
NGEE ANN Polytechnic in Singapore offers Electricity Safety guidelines to their students including the illustration above.
Are phones electric?
Should I ask for a replacement?
