While digging bits and pieces on celebrations of Bastille Day 2009 in the Big Apple, I had a brief encounter with Paris in New York which offers a French perspective on life in New York City.
Written by Marie Domitille Delecourt, a Parisian whose previous life had her doing PR for French corporate behemoth Renault and Elf, Paris in New York shares Summer events such as Napoleon 3 and Paris at the Met (which runs until September 7) and Cinéma sur l’Herbe / Films on the Green presented by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation from July 11 to July 25.
In true French fashion she announced on June 30th that she was taking a long Summer vacation and would return in September.
