When I was told that In Fine Rosé 08 would be in stock on April 15 I could not resist the thought that hey! here's a wine for the tax deadline?
Will it help you to crunch numbers, not sure?
At around $12 it can at least keep your wine budget under control.
By the way it is mostly Grenache (80 percent) with 10 percent (each) Syrah and Cinsault to round the mix.
In Fine is a project from Raphael Trouiller better known for Domaine De Cascavel and also offers a white and a red.
The In Fine Blanc 07 (80% Clairette, 20% Bourboulenc from the hillsides near Mont Ventoux) around $12 as well is fresh enough that you could just sip it as an aperitif.
The In Fine Rouge 07 (90% Grenache, 10% Syrah) fills your mouth and has lasting power, around $12 as well.
Great buys all.
I sampled all three at the Spring Portfolio Tasting for Sherbrooke Cellars and Willette Wines at Cru Restaurant in New York on March 18.
