Still wondering if the mega bucks bail outs around the globe will work their magic, here’s a cure with guaranteed results.
On Thursday, October 16, from 5 to 10 pm all Chow Foods restaurants in Seattle (Coastal Kitchen, Atlas, Endolyne Joe’s, 5 Spot, The Hi-Life, Mioposto) "are having an event called Dow’d But Not Out. Food prices will be based on the closing numbers for the Dow. So, if the DOW closes under 9,000 you won’t pay more than 9 bucks for any entree" Marketplace reported.
While food prices will be based on the Dow close, drinks will follow the Nasdaq. According to Seattle Twist "Chow Foods house red & white wine, draft beers and well drinks will be
priced at the NASDAQ close for the day. If it dips to 1250, then their
depression era pricing on these libations will be just a buck twenty
five".
Giving them extra points in my book, I noticed a Brittany Menu on October 29 at Coastal Kitchen.
Any barber shaving their prices?
