As I have been down with a cold since the week-end, listening to Celso Fonseca’s new album, "Rive Gauche" (Six Degrees) was music to my ears who right now cannot stand loud sounds.
This second album is more jazzy than the first one, old-fashioned jazz bossa nova in a way, not too far from the sound of Baden Powell.
Celso Fonseca is no new kid on the block, he was over the years the sideman for many brazileiros including Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa and Chico Buarque.
If you want to listen to excerpts of the album follow this Six Degrees link, and you can listen to samples of each song or if you wish to sign for the Free Rhapsody Trial, treat yourself to the whole album and a Caipirinha
The right medicine for a cold, Celso Fonseca new album : “Rive Gauche”
