This goat cheese, ‘La Chivita’, 
comes from the very picturesque Picos de Europa area in the Asturias (Northern Spain) whose contours are defined by a limestone range over 20 miles long. The cheese is semi-soft with solid flavors. Let it sit room temperature for a bit before eating and have some crusty bread handy.
While looking for more details on this cheese, I actually discovered Miguel & Valentino based in Bethesda, Maryland. They distribute gourmet foods from Spain including many cheeses that I still have to find and taste.
The Hotel Posada Del Valle surrounded by its own organic farm looks like a nice place to stay if you visit this region.
