By the side of the other “Rocky’ stands Keiko, a smart and sassy woman with a must have Japanese cookbook

I had the chance to attend the early morning Press Conference celebrating the launch of Japanese Restaurant Food Week.

Amongst those lighting up the stage was the other ‘Rocky’ and Keiko Ono Aoki a former Miss Tokyo and talented businesswoman and cook who decided to share some kitchen tips in ‘Easy and Healthy Japanese Food for the American kitchen‘ (Quill Driver Books, April 2007).

OK the title is a mouthful but the recipes are easy to use and well illustrated. Because of our busy American lives she made sure all the dishes can be made in 30 minutes max.

The other ‘Rocky’, her husband is famous for his Benihana restaurants.
