What’s the point of making New Year’s resolutions that you will not keep?
I am not making any for this still brand spanking new 2008.
I do have plans though.
Since I became a grandpa a few days ago and the lively baby boy is in France, I will have to make things happen and get there.
Not as fast as I wished I could but around the middle of the year.
I know the dollar is weak or the euro is strong depending on the way you look at it.
Do you have suggestions on how to mitigate the foreign exchange pain?
I plan on mixing leisure and writing fresh from the scene (wherever it is) on my usual topics.
Should I find sponsors for my European Vacation who will reward me in Euro deposits?
Time to come up with a book project (and get ze advance)?

In the long and digressive version it becomes Do French People really Hate Americans? by the French Guy from New Jersey, a musical take is From Bruce Land to Johnny Holiday.
Maybe it all sounds silly!
