Rather than limit herself to truffles, chocolate bars and your average chocolate creations, in Paris chocolate artist Josephine Vannier‘s offerings ran the gamut from piano to masks of initiation or theater with this ‘tragedy-satire-comedy’ (my illustration, from their site) or ‘columbine’, not to forget a ‘painting board’.
The animal collection is amazing (Monkeys, Tortoise).
She even turns cocoa into shoes and handbags.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, her heart is on display as shown here (illustration also from their site).
You can visit Chocolaterie Josephine Vannier at 4, rue du Pas de la Mule – 75003 PARIS (Metro Bastille), closed on Mondays, opened Sunday afternoon.
I discovered this wonderful place thanks to Globespotters.
