Wondering what to do with some of that still fat bonus you just got, fly first class to London (or book a private jet) and treat yourself to a $2,000 Seven Course Menu at Vivat Bacchus.
Could not find what this pricey special (and wine pairing) consists of.
More down to earth things worth noting about the restaurant is that they serve Seared Medallions of Springbok (with Parma Ham and Sage, Butternut Mash).
I would not mind sticking to their Cheese Room said to offer a selection of some 80 cheeses from around the world. Cheese, charcuterie and a few good wines is all I need to feel content.
Also on the Menu, I noticed a Wagyu Beef and Foie Gras Burger. The Rabbit, Saffron and Green Olive Stew – Home made Tagliatelle (sets you back $32).
The main dining room seats only 80 so it should still feel comfortable.
South African born chef Robert Staegemann is also known to serve antelope and kudu and if I am to believe Big Hospitality on occasion some snake.
Not a place for vegetarians I guess.
Got started on this story thanks to Nibbles.
