A Little Bleary Eyed on my Way To South by Southwest

A little bleary eyed but on my way to Austin for South by Southwest Interactive, my plane finally left New Jersey.
In case you missed it I will be offering my thoughts with 4 talented people on being Just Over 50 and Not Dead Yet on March 8.
At least the weather cooperated.
This week seemed like it did not want to allow me getting things done.

how I am going to an Interactive conference after hitting road bumps
with so many services from insurance provider to wireless service
online store.
Amazing how both companies found out about the troubles they were having with their technology from customers.
There is an argument to make for companies being required to eat their own dog food.
Would
it not be great when problems arise as they always will if businesses
communicated with us in plain English by displaying the nature of the
issue and what our next step should be instead of keeping us in the
dark with just inscrutable computer code to stare at.
A little sympathy or even an apology from your provider also goes a long way towards soothing ill feelings.
The
people at Typepad who provide me with the ‘sandbox’ that makes Serge
the Concierge and Just Over 50 and Not Dead Yet possible proved that
time and again
