Money can’t buy you love.
If you were one of the 50 VIP Customers of Hotel Lebua in Bangkok, on April 5th you were treated to an extravagant meal quoted to cost $300, 000 per head and cooked by a phalanx of star chefs.
That is at least what Who Needs the Dough by Nicole Cotroneo on Globorati reported.
Sounds like the hotel was picking up the tab.
A sprinkle of social responsibility was added to the event with a tour of a local slum.
Hannah Beech called it the $300,000 Dinner in an April 1st article for Time.com.
If this is an April Fools Day joke, It was of bad taste.
