A small beach town of 30,000 Obama City, Fukui Province in Southern Japan near Kyoto might become a new tourist hot spot in the wake of the US presidential election.
According to Radio Netherlands Worldwide, besides the shared name, the city was the victim in the 70's and 80's of kidnappings by the North Korean and the city bears a grudge towards the current White House
occupant for lifting sanctions against North Korea while one of their citizen is still captive.
On a lighter note, they also share this pop tune Obama Song by a local band.
