After the over abundance of choices at Return to Terroir and Gamberro Rosso, it was refreshing to sample a small batch of Rosé wines from Languedoc Roussillon under the Sud de France banner.
There was poetry to their names, Le Champ des Grillons (Syrah, Grenache Noir), A Mi Chemin, Vendanges d’Antan.
A nonchalant break in a busy day with besides the 10 wines on offer, tasty sandwiches and a smattering of cheeses to refuel.
This small affair took place at the New York branch of Maison de la Région Languedoc-Roussillon whose official opening will be on April 13, 2009.
Well done!
