The Indonesian Girl from Winnipeg, actually now Boissevain, Pepy, is the worldly winner of Part 3 of our Everyday Harumi Cookbook Contest on Cooking, Manga and Anime.
She is not just into cooking, Manga and Anime.
Her first love of cooking anime was Born To Cook, Mr. Ajikko for Japanese.
She also likes to document her culinary adventures in pictures as much as in words via The Art and Science of Food, her take on Indonesian and Asian Fusion Cuisine.
Since goats or rather goat meat seem to be the Hot New Thing on the California restaurant scene, I chose her shot of Gulai Kambing -Indonesian Goat Curry- (Oct 18) as a showcase of her photographic work.
Congrats Pepy for winning the 3rd and last signed copy of Everyday Harumi and having a big heart.
I dedicate this short piece to my friend Soraya, now back in Indonesia to thank her for introducing us to the foods of her home country.
