Stopping by the Opera booth at Web 2.0 Expo New York in November, I mentioned to one of them that I used their Mini Browser on my Blackberry Curve.
My version being 4.2 she suggested that I give a try to the recently released Opera Mini 5 better she said for all the social networking sites (now in Beta version).
I downloaded the software (for Blackberry 4.2 and up) without any trouble and proceeded to install the program.
Things were running smoothly until I was asked to Accept the EULA (end user agreement in plain English) by clicking on Accept Button.
Problem was there was no Accept Button visible. I browsed the web for answers.
I did not find any that worked so in frustration ended up removing the program.
As I was sorting out papers today, I realized that the flier they gave me at Web 2.0 NY had an e-mail for press inquiries.
I thought, lets give that a try.
Within an hour, I had an answer from Thomas, very simple actually:
When you get to the Accept the EULA (end user agreement) Screen on your Blackberry Curve
Click the Menu Key to the Left of the Trackball, a Small Menu Window Pops Up.
Press 'Yes' and you're ready to go.
I really like the new Home Page above (even though I don't have a touchscreen).
I hope this Tip saves time and frustration to others who hit the same roadblock as I did.
Sharing is caring.
Thanks Thomas for the helping hand
