A question I often get regarding this blog is why I do it?
People I meet in business settings or at friends homes regularly ask what my motivation is?
On top of the list, I enjoy writing, have the discipline to do it at least 5 days a week.
Second I pretty much cover only things I like and some that I feel passionate about.
Third, I correspond with and meet interesting people from a multitude of backgrounds and countries which stimulates my intellect and keeps me alive.
Fourth, people read my stories and a few even take the time to tell me they loved some of them.
Fifth, I get invited to nice food and wine events, book signings and the like.
As for money, writing 'Serge the Concierge' since March of 2005 has not been lucrative yet I am richer than I was before I started it. Richer in all the ways that I highlighted above.
As for you, what drives you?
Is it kudos, special treat, money, status?
