In Paris with no plans for the week-end and eager to sample some wine, here's an event to satisfy your taste buds.
The 4th Annual La Revue du Vin de France Wine Fair is back on May 8th and May 9 at Palais Brongniart, Place de la Bourse in Paris. They want us to taste well, to buy well.
A quick snapshot of the program:
The élite of french winegrowers and wine dealers gathered on the ground
floor: 170 prestigious domains (château Sociando-Mallet, Haut-Médoc, champagne Bollinger, château
Gilette, Sauternes, etc).
–
40 up-and-coming winegrowers will present and make
you taste their finest wines.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover the wine and gastronomy combinations by Cuisine et
Vins de France and the « Dédicace » Section will introduce guests to writers of the most authoritative
reference works on the subject of wine and gastronomy.
Splurge with 1200 plus wines from 200 producers.
Price per person: 1 Day: 19€, 2 Days: 25€.
Considering the number of wines on offer, I suggest you sign up for the 2 day option.
