Will this wine make you dance languorously?
Maybe!
Domaine de la Casenove in Trouillas (not far from Perpignan) came out singing with a Rossa Nova.
This 2009 Rosé is 70% Grenache and 30% Macabeu, vineyard on clay soils, harvested by hand.
Since I did not taste it, I have to follow the producer's pairing choices. They suggest that you sip it with grilled chicken or fish, spicy food or gambas with garlic either outdoors or at the beach with friends with they say Chico Buarque or Carlos Jobim playing in the background.
What they might not have realized was there is a Brazilian band from Sao Paulo also named Rossa Nova who celebrate life and planet earth in their songs.
Above playing in their hometown.
Getting back to Rossa Nova, the wine, it is not imported in the USA yet.
They
would not mind though.
