Why would a New York literary agent want to become a farmer and cheesemaker in Vermont?
I do not know as I have not read yet Hay Fever: How Chasing a Dream on a Vermont Farm Changed My Life (Wiley).
I am sure Angela Miller, the author will answer that question and a few others when she reads from her book for a Launch Party of sorts at Brooklyn Kitchen (in New York, not South Africa) on May 15 at 12 Noon.
Her Consider Bardwell Farm cheeses have won wide acclaim and are served at a number of top US restaurants including The French Laundry, Jean Georges and Daniel.
They were actually mentioned as favorites by Max McCalman in my Mastering Cheese Interview.
I don't believe I tasted any of them yet.
