Checking transportation modes and prices from New York to Toronto, I discovered Porter Airlines which I never heard of until then.
They fly only routes between Canada and Boston, Chicago, Myrtle Beach and Newark Airport in the US.
In the case of Toronto, you land at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, minutes from the city center.
You can catch a free ferry ride from terminal to downtown every 15 minutes.
Their 3 fare options , firm, flexible or freedom making flying sound civilized again, a people experience.
It does not seem that Lefsetz Letter were a guest of Porter yet in Remember when it was fun to fly? (March 11), they find only praise for them.
It is nice to read about an airline that does not nickle and dime every step you take.
They give me one more reason to visit Ontario Wine Country.
